The Major Arcana is a series of 22 cards that represent points on life's journey. They tell the story of the fool as he travels through life.
00—the fool
The Fool is untested, unchallenged, and naive. They represent the start of a journey. Like you when you graduate(ed) college.
01—the magician
The Magician represents someone who is resourceful and relies on their own strength to get shit done. Like Bernie. We miss you.
02—the high priestess
The High Priestess is just like a modern talk show host: intuitive, internal, and knowing.
03—the empress
The Empress is actually Michelle Obama: utterly maternal, mothering, and the embodiment of feminine power.
04—the emperor
The Emperor is the masculine counterpart to the Empress: Like Barack to Michelle. He has authority and power, but is fatherly and kind.
05—the hierophant
The Hierophant brings with him tradition, conformity, and identity. So does the leader of the entire Catholic world.
06—the lovers
The lovers represent a union: the joining of two complimentary forces. #CoupleGoals. Just like Portia and Ellen.
07—the chariot
While we love to hate long-boarders, they do have a lot in common with the Chariot: perseverance, control, and a #winning attitude.
08—strength
Think of Emma Watson, and all she had to go through to speak at the UN. That’s the kinda strength we’re talking about. “You won’t make a fool of yourself.”
09—the hermit
Introspection. It’s time to take a minute to listen to yourself. But don’t take too long, or you might not come out of it.
10—the wheel
Yup. Think of that squeaky ceiling fan that your friend has when you’ve got the drunk-spins. At first it’s soothing, thought-provoking. You’re seeing how it all works. The big picture. But stare too long and you’re gonna wanna through up.
11—justice
Don’t even worry. The #NotoriousRBG has this handled. Things will work out the way they're supposed to.
12—the hanged man
Think of your stoner friend. You know the one I mean. The hanged man means you’re in that blissful happy state, even if things are going to shit around you.
13—death
Calm down. No one’s dying. They’re just getting married. (kidding). Death means change. Something ending, and something else beginning.
14—temperance

15—the devil

16—the tower
Shit has officially hit the fan. The tower represents abrupt change, chaos, and disarray.

Lights, Camera, Action! You’re feeling inspired, hopeful, and serene.
18—the moon
Everyone is a little camera shy. The Moon represents fear, anxiety, and illusions–especially those we create for ourselves.
19—the sun
Imagine that feeling when you finally get the job: hopeful, utterly happy, and serene.
